taking a small risk
This may sound silly but I've never been to see a movie by myself in the theater. I'm going to change that on Monday. Monday because I feel like I can stay up later since I don't have to go to work Tuesday morning and maybe also Monday because if all goes well I can start a "Movie Monday" night. What can I say, I like alliteration.
I've invited some people from my Sunday school class, but even if no one joins me (which they probably won't), I'm going to go have fun at the movies. I really want to see Made of Honor and just decided to make it happen.
Thanks to pugsforpeace and electric firefly for inspiration to have some mommie time and take risks.

I don't think it's silly. I didn't start doing it until I was in college, and it's pretty awesome--you can see whatever you want at a time that's convenient for you (as opposed to a time that's convenient for everyone) AND you don't have to share the popcorn or Milk Duds.
It's good to go to the movies and not have it be this huge negotiation. You know? :)
I've heard Made of Honor is good but I haven't seen it.
It wasn't until recently that I did that as well. It isn't as weird as you think because you're so into the movie...watching a movie is more of a one person thing anyways. The weird one for me, and still is, is going out to dinner by myself. I do it now because I travel for business and sometimes it's just me that wants to go somewhere.
Good for you! You deserve some YOU time!
