Interesting statistic: Stephan does #2 80-90% of the time I take him to the gym.

I’m not kidding. Most of the childcare workers there joke about it, I do too. Friday he kept saying “workin’ it poopy” all morning so I finally just went to workout at the gym and he did the deed. TWICE.

We went again today and again, yes that’s right, poopy.

It wouldn’t be a big deal if they changed his diaper, but no, we get paged to the Kid’s Club and have to stop whatever we are doing and go back there to change the diaper. On top of that we’re supposed to bring our own Ziploc bags to enclose the foul thing before throwing it out. I’ve never done that. Waste of Ziplocs. For a while he tended to poo just as I was finishing my workout and I’d just take the thing with me and toss it when we got home as there aren’t even any trash cans outside the gym. Then I started dropping them in the trash cans inside the gym since I figured they changed them regularly and the gym is one wide open space so odor can’t travel that far. Now I’ve discovered that they have bags on a shelf and wrap the diaper up in that and chuck it. Aren’t you so glad I shared all that with you?

I wonder how long this will continue or if it’s just a phase. Certainly is interesting.
