tuesday stuff
Hatin’
That payday isn’t till Thursday.
That I have to go back to work in two weeks.
That my principal who wants me to work when I can’t hasn’t responded to my email about my schedule.
Worrying about my schedule.
Having to put gas in my car again before payday.
Stephan’s started to want to sleep on his crib mattress on the floor instead of in the big bed. I’m not too concerned but would love to clear out some of the stuff in his room so there’s more space to play sooner rather than later.
Drama at bedtime. In addition to where he’s sleeping, Stephan is being a pill. He’s pushing boundaries, asking for his milk, cookies, “tuck in,” whatever he can think of after we put him to bed. On top of that he can climb over the gate now so there’s not much to keep him in his room. Sometimes we try two gates, one on top of the other, but with his climbing prowess that makes me nervous. Often, the only thing that works is telling him firmly, “it’s bedtime/naptime, you need to stay in bed and go to sleep,” and then standing guard in the hall and telling him to get back in bed if he gets out. I’m so over this. Hopefully it won’t last too much longer. I don’t want to have to mess around so much when I start back at work.
Not having enough storage space. Soon we’ll need to find a place to store the crib mattress and the new crib we get with the voucher from Jardine. Maybe rearranging the garage will work.
My constant desire to eat out.
Lovin’
My little bro is coming to visit next week.
Stephan. He loves movies in the “Big. Movie. Theater.” and does pretty well for a 2yo with a short attention span. He also wants to “snuggle mommie” more often than he ever used to. He’s starting to give real kisses (he used to just lean his head in for you to kiss him). He giggles a lot.
Dark chocolate peanut M&Ms.
Feeling more confident at the gym on the weight machines and seeing some muscles.
That my sitter is ok being flexible about her days with Stephan.
Lunch yesterday with a friend.
Tomorrow night I’m going out for cheesecake. Cheesecake Factory is having some celebration and slices are $1.50. I’m either going out with the girls if they can get it together, or with the hubby. I’m not missing out on this!
Spending just enough at King Soopers that we qualify for 10 off per gallon of gas.
Having some fresh fruit and lettuce.
Yummy dinners at home.
A nice talk with my sister yesterday.
My supportive hubbster.

I would kill--KILL!--for cheesecake.
*sigh*
There always seems to be a wait at CF. Andy brought me home some chicken nuggets from Wendy's when he got their dinner so I wasn't starving if we had to wait a while to get seated. Glad you enjoyed yourself!
