Here's Stephan enjoying his first snow. Last year he was too little to get the snow thing (and we got a TON) but today he had fun walking around ... until the fall.
Then we came inside and lounged some, Stephan in what I thought was an uncomfortable position but hey, I guess I'm the one with the bad back.
And to be fair, I shouldn't leave out the cat. Miz Graycie has been doing her fair share of lounging too, in the most amusing places.
Ice Cream Update: I think my Apple Pie Ice Cream contribution to Turkey Day came out a success, I was quite happy that it did not all fit into the container so I got to sample some. Tasty stuff. Next time I might use more apples but I still think it will be a crowd pleaser. I sure hope so. I'll post pictures tomorrow or Friday.
Fellow cat lovers/owners I just discovered that Greenies is mailing out free samples of their new tartar control cat treats. Who knows how much our cat will like them but I've seen the doggie variety and wished they made them for cats, now they do. If you too want a free sample head to their website and give them your info.
while i should be in bed now, i feel the urge to share with everyone what my crazy cat is up to. she is torturing both herself and a cricket. herself because she is ceaselessly going after a cricket that is stuck in the box fan. she'll never get it, kill it and leave it on the floor for me in the morning. well, not unless the cricket is dumb enough to find it's way out of the fan. the cricket is just stuck in the fan being tortured by a cat pawing at it, that has to suck. all i can hear is the cat pawing at the fan and the cricket jumping inside it. plastic makes and interesting sound when this is occuring. quite humorous. glad this is happening in the living room and not my bedroom so i'll actually be able to go to bed here soon. though i'm not at all excited about the fact that there is a cricket in my house trapped in the fan, most likely not forever. hopefully the cat will eventually devour or demolish the cricket and it won't end up anywhere near my bed.
