Some people might chalk this up to mere coincidence, I however do not. I think it's totally a God thing.
Yesterday we went to the grocery store armed with several coupons, one of which was for a free six pack of some sort of gatorade. We couldn't find what kind so Andy went and asked someone and discovered it was these little tiny bottles, Andy picked the strawberry kind.
Then as you know Stephan got sick. Yuckies coming out both ends. We are concerned about dehydration since all he wants to drink is milk but that induces more yuckies so we were trying water and gatorade. He didn't seem into either and pushed most everything we tried away. Today we pulled out the little bottles of gatorade and he LOVED drinking out of the little bottle and we were very happy.
I'm grateful that that coupon showed up at just the right time and we went to get the gatorade at just the right time and that it was in the prefect little bottles for Stephan to drink and now we feel better about him not getting dehydrated. That's too many coincidences for me, I see God's hand in it all.
OK, that header might turn people off but there's NO OTHER WAY TO DESCRIBE THIS!
I found out over the summer that my sister chose to get married in FL ... over SPRING BREAK. It's her day and she gets to choose the date but the last couple months I've been getting very worried about the expense of plane tickets that time of year. Starting in about October my dad began harassing me about needing to buy tickets, and soon or they would just keep going up (he would even call me with "cheap" deals from CO to FL. I knew we couldn't charge them on a credit card ... those don't work for us really. So every time I told my dad we had to wait till Andy got his bonus check and then we could start looking for tickets. He thought I was crazy but I had hope that God would provide the right fare at the right time ... still worried about it but deep down I knew God would provide.
GOD SO DID!
Andy got his bonus check yesterday and got it in the bank so it would clear and stuff by the end of the day. This morning Stephan woke us up pretty early and while he's sleeping again now Andy got up and started searching for airfare. GOD PROVIDED tickets on Southwest for $218/each with taxes and fees the total for two tickets (Stephan is still under two thank goodness!) was $477.60!!!! And I truly believe that GOD is behind this. He knew what we needed and when and honored our need to not use a credit card. I can't wait to call my dad and tell him about this. We paid LESS than he did to travel from Chicago! Such relief to have the plane tickets, the rental car and couple nights we need to spend in a hotel will come next and I'm sure we'll be fine. I'm going to FL. For my sister's wedding. WOW!
For my wonderful lil sis: I LOVE YOU SO MUCH and am glad we have started building a relationship and I GET TO COME SEE YOU GET MARRIED! Yay for you!!
