This may sound silly but I've never been to see a movie by myself in the theater. I'm going to change that on Monday. Monday because I feel like I can stay up later since I don't have to go to work Tuesday morning and maybe also Monday because if all goes well I can start a "Movie Monday" night. What can I say, I like alliteration.
I've invited some people from my Sunday school class, but even if no one joins me (which they probably won't), I'm going to go have fun at the movies. I really want to see Made of Honor and just decided to make it happen.

This movie was not awful, certainly not Meet the Parents horrible, but still not the greatest. Why one would seek to ruin a relationship to make it stronger I sure don't know. But the credits at the end of the movie were great!
I went out with a friend today and saw Stardust.
After reading the book not too long ago, at Natalie's recommendation, I have been looking forward to seeing the movie. And was not disappointed.
Usually I don't like books turned movies. The books are often much better and I end up disliking the movies, not being able to accept the movie for what it is. However, while Stardust the movie was different from Stardust the book, it was still a good movie. There were things they left out or changed in the movie that seemed unnecessary, but as a whole the plot was the same and the characters were the same and the acting was great. I really enjoyed the ghosts of the brothers of Stormhold and Robert De Niro's character was fabulously hilarious too. The ending was interesting and while different from the book it was a good ending and in the spirit of the book.
I'd recommend seeing the movie and reading the book.
I finally finished watching this movie. Took a few days since there's not a ton of time with a one year old and the movie was a little slow. While the movie as a whole was just ok, Jennifer Hudson was FABULOUS! I liked her on American Idol, but I loved her in this movie. She was an amazing actress. Out shined everyone else. Made the movie worth watching. Glad she won the Oscar. You go girl!
