If you could do anything you want tomorrow, what would it be?
Submitted by Becca-Pink.
Aside from the fact that I don't have millions of dollars at my disposal to fly to New York or Paris and go shopping, I do get to do anything I want tomorrow! Stephan will be headed to Nana & Papa's and I get the day to myself. I'm hoping to do lunch with a friend and maybe go shopping. I've got something I need to exchange if I can find the reciept. I also need to try and find something else. Will try and make it to the gym as well, we'll see. I'm just happy to have the day to myself really, so I can do anything I want.
What would make you question a friendship?

When someone stops having the time to talk or get together with you. If you have a relationship you have to be available and willing to spend time with someone. I'm not talking 24/7 or anything, but when you haven't seen or talked to me in a couple months I start to wonder ....
Another thing: saying you want to get together and then not returning phone calls, texts or emails. Ever, not just once because you were busy. Course that's kind of related to the first one.
What's on your "To-Do" list today? What are you most looking forward to and what are you most dreading?
Is it a Vox thing to ask this once a month?
Anywhoo ... (can you tell it's SUMMER!!)
Eat breakfast.Go to the gym.Feed Stephan lunch and shower.Eat a yummy salad for lunch.Hunt for a reciept.I had found it and apparently already misplaced it and I really need to exchange something. Stupid small pieces of paper.- Love that it's sunny outside but still not so hot I can't have windows open. I love the fresh air when I'm not sweltering.
- Enjoy the quiet of naptime.
- Put photo editing software on my computer and then crop and edit photos that have been waiting to be viewed by others for far to long.
- Maybe take Stephan to the park when he wakes up.
- Make dinner.
- Hug the hubby when he comes home.
- Eat dinner.
- See if they can take out some of the links on Andy's new watch at Kohls.
- Bathtime for Stephan ... followed closely with bedtime.
- Watch a movie or do someting fun with Andy.
- Bedtime.
Look at the first post you ever wrote on Vox. What important developments or changes have occurred in your life since then?

My first post was totally lame (thus the reason it's viewable by family only which at the time was my sister). I had no idea what I was doing and was still trying to figure out this whole Vox thing. Thanks to my sister I've since discovered many cool aspects of Vox and now blog more often than every two weeks. Probably too much sometimes. I've found groups I like, neighbors and friends I LOVE and really enjoy taking some "me" time to get things out. Sad things, happy things, silly things, anything I want to share I share. Life has changed a ton in the year since my first post. My son is growing like a weed and is too smart for his own good. Still as adoreable as ever though. I have a couple more close friends and many more toys in my living room.
From my first public post on Vox, here are my goals at the beginning of last summer:
1) be nice even when I'm tired and cranky, 2) start walking every day, 3) work on my scrapbook for Binker's first year, 4) clean my condo from top to bottom
Sad thing is that I'm not much farther along with #1. Still something I struggle with, especially when I've got the blues, am stressed or don't get much sleep. I've probably only completed a handful of pages in the scrapbook mentioned in #3 and the condo (#4) is often in a messy state though some of that is relative to what room you are in. It's a process of sorting and getting rid of stuff and things we don't need we are always working on.
The one thing that I've been making progress on is #2. While I don't walk every day I'm regularly going to the gym which is a HUGE step in the right direction!
How do you stay in shape?
In January I joined a gym and started going 3-5 times a week to work out. While I'm pretty clueless about everything but the cardio machines in the past couple weeks I've been branching out and trying to figure out some of the weight machines. Right now I'm more trying to get in shape than stay in shape. I'm also trying to make lower my blood pressure and increase my "good" cholesterol as part of being more healthy. That tied with changing my diet to include more fruits and veggies (especially salads) and less of everything else is hopefully working.
I also try and post weekly updates on Vox to get encouragment and maybe even a kick in the pants if I'm struggling.
Which team are you rooting for this baseball season?
I've got three that top my list. The Rockies of course since I'm a Denverite. The Cubbies since I'm from Chicago. The Twins since I've got family from MN. Other than that, if none of those teams are in the running for the Series, I go for the underdog or the team with the best story (like the Red Sox) or the team with the most former Rockies.
What I really want is Todd Helton to win a Series. He deserves one, especially after getting so darn close last year!
What are your travel plans for this spring/summer?
We aren't doing any more travel this spring after recently returning from FL.
Hopefully I'll get to visit family in Chicago sometime in June before Stephan turns two and we have to pay for his plane ticket.
I also think I'll be heading to SantaFe with Andy for a conference. He'll be learning and I'll be exploring. Should be fun.
Mostly, I'm just looking forward to having a break from work for a few weeks and being able to not have much on the agenda except trips to the zoo and hopefully spending time with friends.
How do you find out about new artists and bands you might like?
Usually the radio, sometimes my hubby and friends. There's also the artists that I like from American Idol.
If you're getting one, how are you planning on spending your tax refund?
I already replaced my iPod with some sort-of-tax-refund $$ (when my hubby got his profit sharing we had initially set aside too much for taxes so it was kind of like a tax refund to us). When we get our economic stimulus thing-y we are going to get a new computer. I'm excited about this since I am slowly starting to loathe my current computer and am excited about the possibilities with a new computer!
What was the last great epiphany you had?

That I need to get rid of some CRAP ... um ... stuff I've been hanging on to. This would have fit better with the Spring Cleaning QotD but alas, that one's disappeared now hasn't it!
When it comes to clothes, there are some I hang on to for far too long. Mainly because I think, "one day I'll fit into that again." So today, once we finally got Stephan to actually stay in bed and take a nap, I went through my closet and dresser drawers. Feels good to just get stuff out, and hopefully, on to someone else who can benefit from them not fitting me or looking good on me. And I also discovered a few things that I do fit in again! So it was a good day. Andy got rid of a few things too.
Can you believe this pile!?!?
And when I went to my sister's wedding I gave her a few shirts and skorts too, so now I feel better about all the new clothes I've gotten recently. For anyone who cares, I returned the blousy jean jacket and got another cute pj set. Who knows what the sales lady did with the sale and return, but the store practically paid me to return the jacket and get pjs. So YAY! I've gotten lots of clothes but for very little money when you consider sales, coupons and sales people who can't do math and won't listen when you try to correct their math.
